28-892. Riding on motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle A person operating a motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle shall ride only on the permanent and regular seat attached to the motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle. The operator of a motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle shall not carry any other person and any other person shall not ride on a motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle unless the motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle is designed to carry more than one person. On a motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle designed to carry more than one person, a passenger may ride on the permanent and regular seat if it is designed for two persons or on another seat firmly attached to the motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle at the rear or side of the operator. |
