41-903. Officers and employees; employment and discharge

The chief executive officer of each institution under the control of the governor shall appoint assistants, clerks, guards and employees required to operate the institution, the number to be determined by the governor, except as otherwise provided by law. The chief executive officer of the institution may discharge an employee for cause. An officer or employee may be removed by the governor for misconduct, incompetency or neglect of duty.
