9-499.01. Powers of charter and general law cities

Charter cities and general law cities, whether incorporated as cities pursuant to section 9-101 or having assumed a city organization pursuant to section 9-271, shall be vested with all the powers of incorporated towns as set forth in title 9, in addition to all powers vested in them pursuant to their respective charters, or other provisions of law relating to cities and towns.
