SECTION 64100
64100.  It is the intent of the Legislature that all funding forcategorical programs that are funded according to formulas based onindicators of pupils' needs shall be based on district counts ofpupils meeting the criteria for the programs. It is further theintent of the Legislature to use the information gained from thereports required by this act to revise and update the fundingformulas for categorical programs, as necessary, to ensure thatfunding is distributed to school districts based on updatedindicators of pupils' needs.
