32791.  The director shall adopt a dairy farm scorecard and a milkproducts plant scorecard for the official scoring of dairies and milkproducts plants. The director shall, either directly or indirectlythrough his authorized agents or those of an approved milk inspectionservice, do all of the following: (a) Inspect dairy farms and milk products plants. (b) Conduct or supervise milk scoring or other contests if deemedadvisable by the director.32792.  The director shall do all of the following: (a) Collect, compile, and publish statistics relative to the dairyindustry, oleomargarine, and products resembling milk products. (b) Disseminate the statistics and other information useful to thegeneral good and development of the dairy industry of the state.32793.  The director shall provide blanks for reporting statisticson milk and milk products and on products resembling milk products.He shall, on or before the first of each month, cause to be mailed toeach person that is engaged in operating any milk products plant,any plant in which products resembling milk products aremanufactured, and to each market milk distributor such number of theblanks as may be necessary. Each person that is engaged in operatingany such plant, or that is a market milk distributor shall, within 30days after the blank is mailed to him, transmit to the director afull and accurate report of the amount of milk and milk products andproducts resembling milk products which he produced, purchased,manufactured or distributed during the preceding month.32794.  In addition to the monthly report, the director may requireannual, semiannual, or quarterly reports of the same generalcharacter as the monthly report.
