SECTION 1780-1781
1780.  The purpose of this chapter is to ensure that no net loss ofwetland acreage or habitat values within the Sacramento-San JoaquinValley occurs as a result of fill permit activities pursuant toSection 404 of the federal Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. Sec. 1344 etseq.).1781.  It is the state's goal to increase the total wetlands acreageand values within the Sacramento-San Joaquin Valley.
