SECTION 53990-53992



53990.  A local agency may enter into an agreement with any other
local agency for the allocation of ad valorem taxes for the purpose
of implementing the financial component of the plan. Any such
agreement shall be consistent with legislation implementing Article
XIII A and Article XIII B of the California Constitution.




53991.  No state agency shall, on or after the date that a tax
allocation agreement is entered into pursuant to Section 53990 alter,
defer, or deny priority or allocation of state funds to a local
agency or for state construction projects by virtue of such tax
allocation agreement.



53992.  A local agency and state agency may enter into an agreement
to coordinate the priority or allocation of state funds to the local
agency or state construction projects in order to implement the
financial component of the plan.
