SECTION 13140-13141
13140.  Revenue bonds may be issued by the district for theacquisition and construction, or acquisition or construction of anyimprovements or property or facilities contained within the district.13141.  Proceedings for the authorization, issuance, sale, security,and payment of revenue bonds shall be had, the board shall have thepowers and duties, and the bondholders shall have the rights andremedies, all in substantial accordance with and with like legaleffect as provided in the Revenue Bond Law of 1941, Chapter 6(commencing with Section 54300) of Part 1 of Division 2 of Title 5 ofthe Government Code; provided, however, that qualified voters at theelection therein provided shall be voters as defined in thisdivision, and the method of voting shall be as herein provided. Asused therein the word "resolution" shall mean ordinance, the words"local agency" shall mean district, and the words "legislative body"shall mean board.
