SECTION 24450-24451
24450.  Any person who causes damage to any aircraft that mayreasonably be expected to affect the airworthiness of the aircraftshall do either of the following: (a) Locate and notify the owner or person in charge of theaircraft of his or her name and address, and upon being requested todo so by the owner of the aircraft or person in charge of theaircraft, present his or her driver's license or pilot's license foridentification purposes. (b) Leave in a conspicuous place on the aircraft a written noticegiving his or her name, address, and telephone number and a statementof the circumstances thereof, and, without unnecessary delay, notifythe nearest safety representative of the Federal AviationAdministration.24451.  Any person failing to comply with the requirements ofSection 24550 is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon convictionthereof, shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail notexceeding six months, or by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars($1,000), or by both that fine and imprisonment.
