SECTION 70160-70162
70160. The district has perpetual succession and may adopt a seal and alter it at pleasure. 70161. The district may sue and be sued, except as otherwise provided by law, in all actions and proceedings, in all courts and tribunals of competent jurisdiction. 70162. The district may exercise the right of eminent domain to take any property necessary or convenient to the exercise of the powers granted in this part. The district in exercising such power shall, in addition to the damage for the taking, injury or destruction of property, also pay the cost of removal, reconstruction or relocation of any structure, railway, mains, pipes, conduits, cables or poles of any public utility which is required to be moved to a new location.
