6.145 Resignation of member. A member of the General Assembly who desires to resign his office shall submit a letter <br>of resignation to the officer required to issue a writ of special election to fill such <br>vacancy, pursuant to KRS 118.730. Upon receiving such letter of resignation such officer <br>immediately shall notify the director of the Legislative Research Commission of the fact <br>of such resignation and its effective date. Effective: June 17, 1978 <br>History: Created 1978 Ky. Acts ch. 356, sec. 1, effective June 17, 1978.
