16.640 Administration of system. The government and control of the system is hereby vested in the board of trustees of the <br>Kentucky Retirement Systems. The board shall carry out the provisions of KRS 16.510 to <br>16.652 in the same manner in which it administers the Kentucky Employees Retirement <br>System. In all matters concerning the administration of KRS 16.510 to 16.652, the same <br>rights, duties, and obligations shall apply to the board, as now apply under the provisions <br>of KRS 61.510 to 61.692, except that members of the board, when acting for the State <br>Police Retirement System, shall be paid a per diem of thirty dollars (&#36;30) plus actual <br>expenses.
