61.240 County attorney and clerks not to buy claims against county -- Penalty.
Any county attorney, circuit clerk or deputy, or county clerk or deputy who purchases or <br>speculates in any claim allowed by the fiscal court of his county shall be fined in a sum <br>twice the amount purchased or speculated in by him.
