64.365 Clerks and sheriffs in counties of 75,000 population not liable for default of approved depository. Clerks and sheriffs who are required under Constitution Section 106 to pay the fees <br>collected by them into the State Treasury are relieved from all liability as insurers of <br>funds that come into their hands or subject to their control after the funds are deposited in <br>good faith in a depository or depositories in the county approved by the fiscal court, and <br>the obligors in the bonds shall not be responsible for loss of, or delay in payment of such <br>funds by reason of the failure or suspension of such depository. Effective: July 1, 1982 <br>History: Amended 1982 Ky. Acts ch. 385, sec. 19, effective July 1, 1982. -- Created 1962 Ky. Acts ch. 194, sec. 1.
