65.871 Local restrictions on sales of metals and products containing metal
permitted -- Conditions.
A city, county, urban-county, charter county, unified county, or consolidated local <br>government may adopt an ordinance relating to the purchase of metals and metal-<br>containing products provided the ordinance: <br>(1) Contains at least the provisions specified in KRS 15.232, 16.066, and 433.890 to
433.896, but which may contain additional provisions; and
(2) Does not specify a lesser penalty for a similar offense than specified in KRS 15.232,
16.066, and 433.890 to 433.896 or provides that the penalty specified in KRS <br>433.890 to 433.896 shall apply.
