83.560 Temporary absence or disability of mayor, who is to act -- Compensation. During the temporary absence or disability of the mayor his office shall be administered <br>and its duties discharged by the president of the board of aldermen. The compensation of <br>the president of the board of aldermen for such services shall be determined by the board <br>of aldermen, but shall not exceed the rate allowed the mayor, and the compensation may <br>be deducted in whole or in part from the salary of the mayor, as the board of aldermen <br>determines. History: Created 1972 Ky. Acts ch. 243, sec. 16.
