92.260 Supervisors of taxes in cities of the fourth class. The city council of each city of the fourth class shall each year appoint three (3) discreet <br>freeholders as supervisors of taxes, and fix their compensation. The supervisors shall <br>qualify by taking oath faithfully to perform the duties of their office without favor to rich <br>or poor. They shall select a chairman by vote or lot, and he or either of the supervisors <br>may administer an oath to tell the whole truth concerning his taxable property to any <br>person appearing to have an assessment corrected. Effective: June 17, 1954 <br>History: Amended 1954 Ky. Acts ch. 88, sec. 1, effective June 17, 1954. -- Recodified 1942 Ky. Acts ch. 208, sec. 1, effective October 1, 1942, from Ky. Stat. sec. 3542.
