96A.110 Responsibility for planning, coordination. An authority shall be responsible for over-all planning of mass transit in its transit area. <br>An authority must consult, cooperate and coordinate with any other state, local or federal <br>planning agency or department, having responsibilities and/or authority in the same <br>transit area according to federal and state laws. The ultimate goal of such planning shall <br>be improvement of mass transit service. In carrying out its purposes, the authority shall <br>consider its highway, road and street systems on federal, state and local levels. History: Created 1970 Ky. Acts ch. 243, sec. 12.
