96A.110 Responsibility for planning, coordination. An authority shall be responsible for over-all planning of mass transit in its transit area. <br>An authority must consult, cooperate and coordinate with any other state, local or federal <br>planning agency or department, having responsibilities and/or authority in the same <br>transit area according to federal and state laws. The ultimate goal of such planning shall <br>be improvement of mass transit service.
