96A.210 Interstate transit authorities. Counties and cities of this state abutting upon the boundary line between this state and <br>any other state are hereby authorized separately, jointly with each other, or jointly with <br>any other county, municipality or political subdivision of any such abutting state to form a <br>transit authority or to become a part of an existing transit authority as authorized by this <br>chapter, with the broad and specific powers granted hereunder; or under KRS Chapter 65; <br>provided, however, that any contract, agreement or compact authorized to be made under <br>this section, shall be made with due regard to such federal or state constitutional <br>requirements, as may prevail at the time of the making thereof. History: Created 1970 Ky. Acts ch. 243, sec. 21.
