98.060 Members of building commission -- Qualifications -- Term. The building commission shall consist of four (4) appointive members, and the mayor of <br>the city ex officio. Each appointive member shall be at least twenty-five (25) years of age <br>and reside within the city or the county in which the city is located, and be the owner of <br>real estate or a householder. No officer or employee of the city, whether holding a paid or <br>unpaid office, shall be eligible for appointment to the commission. All appointees shall be <br>subject to the approval of the legislative body of the city. The term of office shall be four <br>(4) years and until their successors are appointed and qualified. The commission may be <br>continued by appointments made in the same manner as the original appointment. Effective: October 1, 1942 <br>History: Recodified 1942 Ky.
