146.100 Director of Division of Conservation -- Qualifications -- Compensation -- Powers -- Duties. (1) The secretary for energy and environment, with the approval of the Soil and Water Conservation Commission shall appoint a director of the Division of Conservation <br>who shall be a graduate of a recognized agricultural college, with at least five (5) <br>years practical experience in professional agricultural activities and who shall serve <br>as executive officer for the commission. The director shall serve at the will of, and <br>receive such compensation as may be determined by the secretary for energy and <br>environment with the approval of the Soil and Water Conservation Commission. <br>Before entering upon his duties, the director shall take the constitutional oath. The <br>director shall hold no other public office or employment. In addition to any other <br>duties assigned to him by the secretary for energy and environment, the director <br>shall exercise, subject to the approval of the secretary, general administrative <br>supervision over all activities, employees and property of the commission; (2) The secretary for energy and environment may employ such other officers, employees, and agents, who shall serve at his will as he deems necessary, with the <br>approval of the Soil and Water Conservation Commission, and shall provide for <br>surety bonds for members, the director, officers, employees or agents if entrusted <br>with funds or property.
