(1) All public and independent postsecondary education institutions shall provide first-time, full-time students with information about hepatitis B disease. The information <br>shall include: <br>(a) Symptoms and treatment; <br>(b) The risk factors associated with hepatitis B acquisition and transmission; and <br>(c) Current recommendations from the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, or the American College Health Association regarding the <br>availability and effectiveness of a hepatitis B vaccination. (2) Nothing in this section shall be construed to require the Cabinet for Health and Family Services or the postsecondary institutions to provide or purchase <br>vaccinations for hepatitis B.
