165.195 Acquisition of property by board of trustees. The board of trustees of a municipal college in a city of the second, third, or fourth class <br>may acquire, by purchase or gift, lands and improvements for the purpose of expanding <br>the plant and extending the usefulness of the college, and when unable to agree with the <br>owner of land and improvements necessary for the purposes of the college may proceed <br>to condemn the land and improvements. The condemnation proceedings shall be <br>conducted in the manner provided in the Eminent Domain Act of Kentucky. Effective: July 14, 2000 <br>History: Amended 2000 Ky. Acts ch. 521, sec. 23, effective July 14, 2000. -- Amended 1976 Ky. Acts ch. 140, sec. 71. -- Created 1960 Ky. Acts ch. 203, sec. 4.
