176.053 Trees along rights-of-way -- Proceeds from sale of products. (1) The Department of Highways is authorized to plant or set trees on and along any and all rights-of-way of highways or state property adjacent thereto, and to cut and <br>sell wood, lumber, or forest products therefrom. (2) All proceeds from the sale of such wood, lumber, or forest products shall be held in a separate fund for the maintenance, construction, or improvement of highways, or <br>the acquiring of rights-of-way, and the improvement or development thereof.
