176.060 Roads under construction -- Regulation of traffic -- Temporary roads. The department may stop or regulate all traffic over any road being constructed or <br>improved until it is ready to be opened to the public, and may designate other roads for <br>the accommodation of traffic until the construction is completed. The department may <br>establish temporary roads while such construction is going on, and may make <br>arrangements with landowners for necessary temporary rights-of-way, and may contract <br>and pay for such rights-of-way out of appropriations from the state road fund by <br>certifying the costs to the Finance and Administration Cabinet. The temporary road shall <br>be opened for travel at least two (2) weeks before work is begun on the road proposed to <br>be constructed or improved.
