186.181 Seizure of canceled plates by Department of Kentucky State Police. The secretary of the Transportation Cabinet shall, upon receipt of a report from the <br>Transportation Cabinet or the Department of Vehicle Regulation of a canceled motor <br>vehicle registration plate, cause all members of the Department of Kentucky State Police <br>and such peace officers as he or she may deem necessary, to be notified of the <br>cancellation. It shall be the duty of all members of the Department of Kentucky State <br>Police and of all peace officers to seize any registration plate bearing a canceled number <br>and to report such seizure to the appropriate department.
