200.580 Duty of secretary for health and family services. The secretary for health and family services shall: <br>(1) Make those services to children and their families known as &quot;family preservation services&quot; accessible to forty percent (40%) of children at imminent risk of being <br>placed outside their homes by 1995 and eventually to all cases where the removal of <br>a child is imminent and provision of such services appropriate; (2) Ensure that the statewide availability of family preservation services be accomplished in an orderly fashion allowing the development and evaluation of <br>different program models necessary to provide services across the geographic <br>diversity of the state; and (3) Accomplish the implementation of family preservation services by consultation with professionals in the child welfare field, using any technical assistance available <br>from the National Conference of State Legislatures and the Center for the Study of <br>Social Policy.
