(1) Concurrent with submitting an application for a waiver or waiver amendment or a request for a plan amendment to any federal agency that approves waivers, waiver <br>amendments, and plan amendments, the Cabinet for Health and Family Services <br>shall provide to the Interim Joint Committee on Health and Welfare and to the <br>Interim Joint Committee on Appropriations and Revenue a copy, summary, and <br>statement of benefits of the application for a waiver or waiver amendment or <br>request for a plan amendment. (2) The cabinet at least quarterly shall provide an update to the Interim Joint Committee on Health and Welfare and to the Interim Joint Committee on Appropriations and <br>Revenue on the status of the application for a waiver or waiver amendment or <br>request for a plan amendment.
