205.782 Service of process by constable in county containing city of the first class. In a county containing a city of the first class, the provisions of KRS 454.140 <br>notwithstanding, including those provisions related to priority of other officers, all forms <br>of legal process may be served in any child support action by a constable of the county <br>upon direction by the initiating party. A constable shall not be automatically deemed an <br>interested party in litigation merely by virtue of serving process on behalf of the <br>Commonwealth. Effective: July 15, 1988 <br>History: Created 1988 Ky. Acts ch. 411, sec. 33, effective July 15, 1988.
