(1) No later than October 1, 1996, the department shall promulgate administrative regulations to establish the standards for performing lead-hazard detection or lead-<br>hazard abatement procedures in target housing or child-occupied facilities, taking <br>into account reliability, effectiveness, and safety. (2) Any activity involving lead-hazard detection or lead-hazard abatement procedures in target housing or child-occupied facilities shall comply with administrative <br>regulations promulgated by the department and shall use certified personnel. Effective: July 15, 1996 <br>History: Created 1996 Ky. Acts ch. 168, sec. 7, effective July 15, 1996.
