216.170 Use of surplus in operating fund. If a surplus is accumulated in the operating and maintenance fund equal to the cost of <br>maintaining and operating the municipal hospital during the remainder of the calendar, <br>operating or fiscal year, as may be provided by the ordinance required by KRS 216.160, <br>the city legislative body may at any time transfer the excess to the depreciation account to <br>be used for any improvements or additions to the hospital.
