217.280 Food establishments to be sanitary. Every building, room, inclosure or premises occupied, used or maintained for the <br>preparation, manufacture, packing, storage, sale or distribution of any food intended for <br>sale shall be properly and adequately lighted, drained, plumbed and ventilated, and shall <br>be conducted with strict regard to the influence of such conditions upon the health of <br>those employed therein, and upon the purity and wholesomeness of the food produced, <br>prepared, manufactured, packed, stored, sold or distributed therein. Effective: October 1, 1942 <br>History: Recodified 1942 Ky. Acts ch. 208, sec. 1, effective October 1, 1942, from Ky. Stat. sec. 2060b-1.
