One joint debtor cannot revive a demand against other debtor.

516.330. If there be two or more joint contractors or jointexecutors or administrators of any contractor, no such jointcontractor or executor or administrator shall lose the benefit ofthe provisions of sections 516.100 to 516.370, so as to bechargeable by reason only of any acknowledgment or promise madeor subscribed by any other or others of them.
