17-426. Additions; lots; sale before platting; penalty.Any person who shall dispose of, or offer for sale or lease, any lots in any town, or addition to any town or city, until the plat thereof has been duly acknowledged and recorded as provided in section 17-416, shall forfeit and pay fifty dollars for each lot and part of lot sold or disposed of, leased or offered for sale.
