38-1510. Applicabilityof act.(1) The Hearing Instrument Specialists Practice Act is not intended toprevent any person from engaging in the practice of measuring human hearingfor the purpose of selection of hearing instruments if such personor organization employing such person does not sell hearing instruments or the accessories thereto.(2) The act shall not apply to a person who is a physicianlicensed to practice in this state, except that such physician shall not delegatethe authority to fit and dispense hearing instruments unless the personto whom the authority is delegated is licensed as a hearing instrument specialist under theact.
