8-158. Banks; appointment as personal representative or administrator; authorized.Any bank, chartered to conduct a banking business in this state and so authorized by its corporate articles, shall have power to act, either by itself or jointly with any natural person or persons, as personal representative of the estate of any deceased person or as administrator of the estate of any person under the appointment of a court of record having jurisdiction of the estate of such deceased person.
