81-12,105.01. MicroenterpriseDevelopment Cash Fund; created; use; investment.(1)The Microenterprise Development Cash Fund is created. The fund shall be administeredby the Department of Economic Development. Any money in the fund availablefor investment shall be invested by the state investment officer pursuantto the Nebraska Capital Expansion Act and the Nebraska State Funds InvestmentAct.(2) The State Treasurer shall credit to the fund money asis (a) transferred to the fund by the Legislature, (b) paid to the state asfees, deposits, payments, and repayments relating to the fund, both principaland interest, (c) donated as gifts, bequests, or other contributions to suchfund from public or private entities, and (d) made available by any departmentor agency of the United States if so directed by such department or agency.(3) The fund shall be used by the Department of Economic Developmentfor the purpose of carrying out the Microenterprise Development Act.(4) The unexpendedbalance in the fund on July 6, 2010, shall lapse to the General Fund on suchdate.
