Statutes > Nevada > Title-40 > Chapter-458 > Civil-commitment-of-alcoholics-and-drug-addicts-convicted-of-crime > 458-340458.340 Civil commitment not criminal conviction. The determination of alcoholism or drug addiction and civil commitment pursuant to NRS 458.290 to 458.350, inclusive, shall not be deemed a criminal conviction.

NRS 458.350 State or political subdivision not required to provide facility for treatment. The provisions of NRS 458.290 to 458.350, inclusive, do not require the State or any of its political subdivisions to establish or finance any facility for the treatment of abuse of alcohol or drugs.
