§1‑339.57.  Satisfaction of judgment before sale completed.

If, prior to the time fixedfor a sale, or prior to the expiration of the time allowed for submitting anyupset bid, payment is made or tendered to the sheriff of the judgment and costswith respect to which the execution was issued, and the sheriff's fees,commissions and expenses which have accrued, together with any expensesincurred on account of the sale or proposed sale including costs incurred incaring for the property levied on, then any right to effect a sale pursuant tothe execution ceases.
