§105‑277.5.  Agricultural, horticultural and forestland – Notice of changein use.

Not later than the close ofthe listing period following a change which would disqualify all or a part of atract of land receiving the benefit of this classification, the property ownershall furnish the assessor with complete information regarding such change. Anyproperty owner who fails to notify the assessor of changes as aforesaidregarding land receiving the benefit of this classification shall be subject toa penalty of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the deferred taxes andinterest thereon for each listing period for which the failure to reportcontinues.
