§105‑316.7.  Mobile home defined.

For the purpose of G.S. 105‑316.1through 105‑316.8, "mobile home" means a structure that (i) isdesigned, constructed, and intended for use as a dwelling house, office, placeof business, or similar place of habitation and (ii) is capable of beingtransported from place to place on wheels attached to its frame. It also meansa manufactured home as described in G.S. 105‑273(13). This definitiondoes not include trailers and vehicles required to be registered annually pursuantto Part 3, Article 3 of Chapter 20 of the General Statutes. (1975,c. 881, s. 1; 1987, c. 805, s. 4.)
