§ 106‑405.6. Cooking or other treatment.

All garbage, regardless of previous processing, shall, before being fedto swine, be thoroughly heated to at least 212 degrees F. for at least 30minutes unless treated in some other manner which shall be approved in writingby the North Carolina Commissioner  of Agriculture as being equally effectivefor the protection of animal and human health. (1953, c. 720, s. 6.)
