Article 49E.

Disposal of Dead Diseased Poultry at Commercial Farms.

§ 106‑549.70.  Disposal pit, incinerator, orpoultry composting facility required.

Every person, firm or corporation engaged in raising or producingpoultry for commercial purposes shall provide and maintain a disposal pit,incinerator, or poultry composting facility of a size and design, approved bythe Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, in which all dead poultrycarcasses are disposed.  This section does not apply to poultry producers withflocks of 200 or less.  The definitions provided in Article 49D of this Chapterapply in this Article.
