§ 108A‑27.5.  ElectingCounties – Duties of the Department.

In addition to the generalduties prescribed in G.S. 108A‑27.3, the Department shall have thefollowing duties with respect to establishing, supervising, and monitoring theWork First Program in Electing Counties while allowing Electing Countiesmaximum flexibility in designing and implementing County Plans:

(1)        Repealed by SessionLaws 2009‑489, s. 6, effective August 26, 2009.

(2)        At the request ofthe counties, provide assistance to counties in their activities with privatesector individuals and organizations relative to County Plans; and

(3)        Establish thebaseline for the State maintenance of effort.  (1997‑443, s. 12.6; 2009‑489, s. 6.)
