No provision of this Articleshall be construed to repeal, amend, abridge or otherwise affect the authorityand responsibility vested in the Environmental Management Commission by Article7 of Chapter 87, pertaining to the location, construction, repair, operationand abandonment of wells, or the authority or responsibility vested in theDepartment and the Commission for Public Health by Article 10 of Chapter 130Aof the General Statutes pertaining to public water‑supply requirements.
