§ 114‑4. Assistants; compensation; assignments.

The Attorney General shall be allowed to appoint from among his staffsuch number of assistant attorneys general as he shall deem  advisable, andeach of such assistant attorneys general shall be subject to all of theprovisions of Chapter 126 of the General Statutes relating to the StatePersonnel System. Two assistant attorneys general shall be assigned to theState Department of Revenue. The other assistant attorneys general shallperform such duties as may be assigned by the Attorney General: Provided,however, the provisions of this section shall not be construed as preventingthe Attorney General from assigning additional duties to the assistantattorneys general assigned to the State Department of Revenue.
