§ 115D‑18.  Organizationof boards; meetings.

At the first meeting after itsselection, each board of trustees shall elect from its membership a chairman,who shall preside at all board meetings, and a vice‑chairman, who shallpreside in the absence of the chairman. The trustees shall also elect asecretary, who may be a trustee, to keep the minutes of all board meetings. Allthree officers of the board shall be elected for a period of one year but shallbe eligible for reelection by the board.

Each board of trustees shallmeet as often as may be necessary for the conduct of the business of theinstitution but shall meet at least once every three months. Meetings may becalled by the chairman of the board, a majority of the trustees, or the chiefadministrative officer of the institution. (1963, c. 448, s. 23; 1979, c. 462, s. 2; 2007‑197,s. 1.)
