The State Education Commission shall consist of the Board of Governorsof The University of North Carolina, the State Community College Board, and theState Board of Education. The Governor shall call the meetings of the StateEducation Commission.
The Commission shall be a forum for airing proposals and engaging inboard‑to‑board dialogue about issues the Education Cabinet isaddressing. The agenda for Commission meetings shall be set by the EducationCabinet. (1993, c. 393, s.1.)
