Electrification.

Article 1.

Rural Electrification Authority.

§ 117‑1.  Rural Electrification Authoritycreated; appointments; terms of members.

An agency to be known as the North Carolina Rural ElectrificationAuthority is hereby created as an agency of the State of North Carolina, suchagency to consist of five members to be appointed by the Governor of NorthCarolina. Current members of the North Carolina Rural Electrification Authorityshall complete their respective terms of office. On or after June 5, 1975, theGovernor shall appoint two members to replace those members whose terms expire on said date. All appointments made by the Governor shall be made for terms offour years.
