The Commission shall:
(1) Monitor theimplementation, and assess and evaluate the effectiveness, of the Department ofTransportation program under G.S. 136‑28.4.
(2) Review the strategiesthe Department of Transportation plans to use to implement the requirements ofG.S. 136‑28.4.
(3) Developrecommendations for submittal to the Department of Transportation or theGeneral Assembly to improve the program under G.S. 136‑28.4. (2006‑261, s. 5.)
